Magical primate

From my London fan again, we have our first drawing! This was found at Londesbourgh, Stoke Newington, London. Not sure where that is, but it sounds more interesting than say, a Lonestar Steakhouse in NC, USA.

We have quite the original piece here... a stick figured monkey which has been drawn as to appear to be clinging to the shadow of the handicap assistance railing. Despite obviously being two-dimensional, our little friend here actually has some depth, as we see (or don't see) his background hands/feet obscured by the fictional pole.

This is a happy little drawing. It also makes me a little dizzy to think about this one sitting there, hours a day, clinging on to this same shadow. The shadow does not move because I assume the light source is fixed. Clever!

What happens when and if the light is turned off? Our poor friend the bathroom monkey turns into just another scribble floating in space... and missing body parts as well. Let's keep this light on for Bathroom Monkey's sake.
